About the Department
Sukanta Mahavidyalaya was established on 25 th September 1981 and very soon it was
affiliated to the University of North Bengal. BBA as a General Stream was approved by
the University in 2003. Later in 2018 Honours Course in BBA was approved by North
Bengal University.

The Goals/Objectives of the Department are:

• To develop human resource of high caliber
• To help students pursue their higher education in Management
• To create a learning environment, conductive to research
• To use education as a source of continual evaluation of its stakeholders in the society
